Susan Boyle's rise to fame is the stuff that dreams are made of, but in the beginning it was very overwhelming for her. Susan canceled appearances and had a brief stint in the hospital, but now feels like she has blossomed.
Susan Boyle described it this way, "It's good to experiment. It's a bit like having a wee flower. If you put a wee bit of water [on it], it gradually blossoms."
Her blossoming began while she was recording "I Dream a Dream", her CD which became a best selling hit last fall. Susan found she had more of a vocal range than she thought and a more varied repertoire with "Amazing Grace," the Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses" and Madonna's "You'll See."
"I think I'm entertaining people," Susan Boyle says. "I'm inspiring a lot of people. What people have written to me about how much I have inspired [them] … I'd like to keep on doing that for as long as it lasts."
