tiger woods

This is Tiger Woods' Jupiter Island Estate, which is till in progress. It probably won't be finished for another year.  Woods purchased the property from Greg Norman in 2007 for $44.5 million.  The property's dwellings were demolished, including a classic Bahama-style mansion.Tiger Woods' new digs will be 9700 sq. ft. and consist of a main house and a gym connected by a glass walkway.

The style is way too modern in the opinion of the island's established residents who include golfers Greg Norman, Gary Player and David Price; singers Celine Dion and Alan Jackson; Burt Reynolds and George H. W. Bush.

It will be interesting to see how Tiger Woods and his Thanksgiving revelations fits in with everyone because the island's activity centers around the Jupiter Island Club where you have to be nominated by someone to join. The current residents have not redecorated since the 1960's and are very traditional. 90% of the Jupiter Island belong to the club and it provides the majority of the recreational activities. Life is pretty dull without it, unless Tiger takes up his old ways.
