The saga of Tiger Woods goes on. Entertainment sleuths and photogs with itchy noses are still on pursuit. Now it is speculated that he is in Hattiesburg, Mississippi at the Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services Clinic. No one there will confirm whether Tiger Woods is a patient or not.
The clinic is one of the top locations for treatment of sexual addiction. Their program, known as Gentle Path usually lasts six weeks but can be adjusted to individual needs.
Gentle Path Clinical Director, Deborah Schiller, would neither confirm nor deny Woods's presence at the facility. "We deal with patients who have suffered some trauma in their lives," she said. "Our concern is to help them heal and recover," according to PEOPLE who tracked her down.
The Pine Grove program is directed by Dr. Patrick Carnes, who has pioneered treatment for sexually compulsive behavior.
According to Pine Grove's Web site: "Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services in Hattiesburg, Mississippi is known as one of the nation's most comprehensive treatment campuses. Since 1984 Pine Grove has offered a continuum of services ranging from outpatient to inpatient and residential treatment for adults, children and adolescents suffering from psychiatric and addictive diseases.
"Specialized services include the treatment of addictions, eating disorders, and professionals struggling with interpersonal difficulties. The Pine Grove Mission is to be a leader in healing and changing lives by providing the highest quality behavioral health services."
The Associated Press has reported that Roger Federer says he's spoken to his friend Tiger Woods by phone and predicts he will be back soon "as the wonderful golfer we know."
